The client had been using a temperature and humidity logger system over cellular networks; when the carrier discontinued service, the system had to be migrated.
Solution
We built the system using “TERMS-pro,” which enables monitoring and logging temperature, humidity, and other parameters on a local network without relying on cellular service.
System Overview
An on-site monitoring network has been deployed. Data servers, units, and various sensors collect and store measurements on servers. The GUI offers “location display,” “graphical display,” and threshold-based alerts for abnormal values.
Expansion
By adding optional DI/DO modules to the system, various contact signals can be incorporated, allowing the system to send email alerts and activate patrol lamps via contact outputs. Initially designed to monitor temperature and humidity, the system now provides comprehensive environmental monitoring and notification services.
